Wanted to pass along this image of Danielle and I on the way to Baldface Mountain in the White Mountain National forest. What a wonderful blessing it is to be able to hike a challenging trail with my grand daughter. The greatest gift was to wake up the next morning ready to do another ten miles of a challenging trail. I attribute this to the great work that Jill has done over the years at the dynamics lab. It's a good reminder that our time in the lab is simply preparation for enjoying the amazing wilderness the state of Maine affords to it fit citizens.

Keep up the good work. Dynamics is the best!

I just wanted to write a quick Thank you to the entire Dynamics staff, in regards to this quote. After over a year of hard work and dedication of working out at Dynamics, I can say that I am physically and mentally in the best shape of my... life THUS far. Dynamics has become part of my lifestyle and routine, and I can't even imagine not having it my life.

I also feel lucky to be surrounded by so many motivating people who are Dynamics clients on a daily basis. Many of who I am happy to
call friends!

If a company is looking for an outing for their staff that is both healthy and also a great team building experience, then I recommend a group class at Dynamics Fitness and Performance. The owner Joe set up the perfect class for the members of our Portland Police Department Special Reaction Team. There were 18 of us with different levels of physical fitness and experience but that didn't matter because the class was designed to push you as hard as you are comfortable pushing yourself. It was a great full body workout and the team had a lot of fun working together. There is a very good chance many of our team members will be returning on their own for classes
in the future. Thank you again Joe.

My brother Dan and I love the class! If you can’t tell, we’re addicted! I know personally that the results I get from your class are the best I’ve ever had. I feel better all around! I’ve been playing sports my entire life. Even at the Division I college level, I still never got the results
I have gotten from this class!

I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. If you want that one on one personal training for any reason this is the place to go. Joe set me up
with James who pushes me to the limit I need and feel great the entire time. Its a great atmosphere and everyone is very friendly. Specific workout programs to target what you need the most and you definitely get maximum results!

I began working with Joe Schacht in May 2009 and had just returned from my first year at college. While the year had been very successful for me in terms of lacrosse, including winning a Canadian national championship and getting a large amount of playing time as a freshman, my training had taken a bit of a down turn. I was weaker than I had been in the past two years and was lacking any sort of flexibility or agility. These weaknesses prevented me from playing at the level required to achieve my goals. Joe developed a program that worked and allowed me to accomplish a wide array of things. Over the course of my three month summer training period with Joe, my bench press and my hang clean increased by 30 lbs and 40 lbs respectively. Along with a large increase in my lifts, Joe corrected several muscle imbalances and increased my speed and agility. I am now heading into my 2009 season with a positive outlook feeling more ready than
ever before.

I was 28 years old and in the worst shape of my life. At first I believed I just had to live with the fact that I was going to be a heavy person, not realizing I could take charge of my health and change my life. A friend of mine invited me to attend a boot camp and that day was the beginning of the rest of my life. That day I met Joe, and soon after he began training me on a regular basis. Within just a few months I was already achieving goals I thought were only possible for others.

My favorite thing about Joe is his positive attitude. I NEVER hear him say anything that makes me believe I’m not good enough or that I cannot do something. He pushes me. REALLY pushes me. Who knew I would be running six miles, cycling thirty miles, or swinging a 40 pound kettlebell in such a short period of time? If I start to doubt myself he’s always right there telling me otherwise. It’s what I need to hear and motivates me to push harder. Joe also makes me feel like I am the only client he has. Obviously this isn’t true, but that’s the focus and attention I receive from him that makes me feel like a valued and important client.

With Joe’s training, I have lost 25 pounds and more than 16% body fat. I have lowered my cholesterol by more than 120 mg. I no longer depend on medication of any kind for health complications. To me this is unbelievable. I am 29 years old and I’m a completely different person. Joe has given me the education, inspiration, and new found passion to live my life to the fullest. Every day is a new opportunity to change, grow, and experience life with an entirely new perspective that the sky truly is the limit. The best part of my day is my training with Joe; I discover new things my body can do that I believed were unfathomable. I couldn’t ask for anything more!

Samantha began training with Joe in the Spring of ’07. She was at the beginning phase of preparing for her participation in the upcoming High School soccer season as a freshman. Her goals were discussed at length with Joe and they were very clear; injury prevention, increase speed and gain upper body strength. Sam trained with Joe throughout the summer and into pre-season. During all her training sessions, Joe was encouraging, supportive and had the ability to make hard work fun.

Sam successfully completed her first High School soccer season as a freshman and attained all three goals. She went the entire season injury free. Her speed clearly increased and her overall strength provided her with great confidence, stamina and overall stability. Her
soccer team won the 2007 Class A state championships and Sam was a key contributor as a varsity player in the game. Joe not only trains Sam physically, but he has a genuine concern for her overall health and well being. He has become a great mentor and friend. He attended her games and kept track of her activities. Joe was very mindful of how her soccer training and other activities fit into her personal training, ensuring that she was not overdoing things. He has a sincere interest in Sam as a client and a person. We are very impressed with Joe and his training philosophies. I would highly recommend Joe for all your training needs!

I trained with Joe for 3 months at Dynamics. During this time I put on 13 pounds of muscle. Working with Joe I realized training does not need to focus on one part of your body. This performance type training targets everything so that you work every part of your body and concentrate on movement. I trained there to help prepare for sports, and it worked. Every part of my body benefited from Joe’s workouts and I am much more prepared than I would be if I had worked out alone. Dynamics helped me prepare for sports and gave me the tools I need to improve my game in every area.

I play for the Portland Rugby Club. We have a group session once a week. The group rate was reasonable, the session was awesome and dynamic to say the least. It has brought our team closer and made us more competitive as a team . Joe works your butt off but, it was fun too. Love the music and atmosphere as well.

When I started working with Joe a year ago, I was 41-years-old, 170 lbs (at 5’5”-40 lbs overweight for me), out of shape, on a medication that I no longer needed (which had also stalled my metabolism resulting in a 50lb weight gain in 2 months), and ready to get my life back
on track after a debilitating depression.

From day one, Joe made me feel both at ease and highly motivated to work hard no matter how far I felt I had fallen off track. He never judged and only encouraged me step by step. (I think we might laugh at some point in every session!)With his support, I weaned off the medication and have completely changed my life and gotten back to the passionately health-oriented dancer within that I thought I had
lost forever.

Now I happily maintain my personal ideal weight of 130 lbs, am at 18.5% body fat, enjoy ever-increasing stamina, strength, tone, agility, and vitality. I can dance and play like I did in my 20’s and early 30’s and I’m confident that our work together will continue to work miracles in my life. This is the beginning of the rest of my life and the lifestyle that I will continue and build upon.

Several years back I got fed up being overweight and not eating healthy. I decided to join a gym to better myself. After working out for
a couple weeks I decided to invest in a personal trainer to help me understand what would work for me as far as exercise and diet is concerned. I got paired up with Rachel. She was my savior. She was so compassionate and determined in helping me to achieve my goals.
I couldn’t really afford to see her as much as I wanted to, so she wrote up a workout for me to follow that would last me a couple weeks until I could see her again. This really helped me stay on track. About 6 months ago I started to train with Rachel again because I was falling back into my old ways. She immediately became available for me and we picked right up where we left off, like we had never stopped training. Rachel is a great support system and makes it fun to lose weight and get fit. She knows what my limits are and adjusts to my fitness levels. I train with Rachel two times a week and that motivates me to workout on my own on days I am not with her. Rachel is a huge part of my success with my weight loss journey. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in getting fit and healthy.

What other trainer would have picked up items at the grocery store to show a client what they should be looking for? You have also looked up articles on the web that were pertinent to me at the time.
